Debora Oden received her BFA in 1996 and her MFA in 2003 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Her work is primarily large-scale intaglio and screen-printed prints.
She is currently an Artist in Resident at the University Place Art Center, Lincoln. She has exhibited her work in the 77th International Print Competition, Print Center, Philadelphia, where she received an award, and also in the 18th University of Dallas National Invitational. She has received a 2004 Nebraska Arts Council Individual Arts Fellowship Award, and the Vreeland Award at UNL.
She has exhibited her work throughout the United States and over-seas. She is in the collections of The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery, Hallmark Inc., The Bemis Center, The University of Nebraska Department of Art an Art History, The University of Wisconsin, and The University of Dallas. She has been a visiting artist at The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and at the Academy of Art College, San Francisco, CA. She recently completed a residency at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, CO.
